The places to see in Bursa are spread in different directions: the historic bazaar and mosques are in the centre, Cumalıkızık to the east, Mudanya and Tirilye on the coast to the north-west, while Uludağ rises south of the city. Places to See in Bursa City Centre

Bursa's historic fabric is concentrated in the Osmangazi and Yıldırım districts, on the slopes of Uludağ. The Inns District and the bazaar are explored on foot, while driving between quarters such as Yeşil, Muradiye and Çekirge saves time. The list is a sightseeing suggestion; follow the time to each stop in your navigation app according to that day's traffic.

1. Grand Mosque (Ulu Cami): With its many domes, the ablution fountain inside and the calligraphy panels on its walls, it is one of the symbols of the city; the streets around it open directly onto the bazaar.
2. Koza Han and the Inns District: The courtyard of Koza Han, once the centre of the silk trade, and historic inns such as Emir Han and Fidan Han are explored on foot together with the Covered Bazaar and the Bedesten. In this area, leaving the car in one of the paid car parks nearby makes things easier.
3. Green Mosque and Green Tomb: The two buildings in Yıldırım are known for the green and turquoise tiles that give them their names; from the slope where the tomb stands you look out over the city.
4. Tophane: The tombs of Osman Gazi and Orhan Gazi and the Clock Tower stand on this hill; from its park you can watch the Bursa plain and the rooftops of the city.
5. Muradiye Complex: A quiet corner with its mosque, madrasa and the tombs in its garden; the Ottoman houses around it can be explored street by street.
6. Irgandı Bridge: A bazaar bridge over the Gökdere stream, lined with shops on both sides; with its handicraft workshops it suits a short break.
7. Çekirge and the thermal baths: West of the city, at the foot of Uludağ, the Çekirge quarter is known for its thermal waters, historic baths and spa hotels.
8. Cable car: The cable car from Teferrüç goes up Uludağ; leaving the car in the city and riding the cable car up the mountain is also an option.

Driving in Bursa: City Traffic, the Motorway and the Uludağ Road

Practical information that will help you behind the wheel in Bursa:

1. City traffic: Bursa stretches as a long strip from east to west, and the main avenues slow down during the morning and evening rush hours. Setting off outside commuting times shortens your trips across the city.
2. Narrow streets and parking: Around the Inns District, Tophane and Muradiye the streets are narrow and steep in places; use the paid car parks or your hotel's car park.
3. Motorway and bridge: The motorway linking Bursa with Istanbul crosses the Osmangazi Bridge; the bridge and the motorway are tolled. Ask our customer service before booking how these tolls are paid in a rental car and how they are charged to you.
4. Uludağ road: The road up the mountain is winding and the air gets cooler as you climb; in winter there is snow and ice. 5. By sea: There are sea bus services between Mudanya and Istanbul. If you are thinking of taking the rental car by sea, ask our customer service first.
6. Mileage, fuel and return: The total mileage allowance for the rental period and a "Fair Fuel Policy" note are shown on the car card; check these lines before long drives such as İznik or Istanbul, and set off early depending on where you will leave the car.

Day Trips from Bursa: Uludağ, Cumalıkızık, İznik and Coastal Towns

The mountain, lake and sea routes around Bursa are within driving range of the city; some take half a day, others a full day. Check the current route and time in your map app before setting off.

• Uludağ: The city's mountain, with its ski resort and hotel zone in winter and its pine forests, walking trails and picnic areas in summer; you can drive up or take the cable car.
• Cumalıkızık: The Ottoman village east of the city, with its stone and timber houses and cobbled lanes, is part of the Bursa site on the UNESCO World Heritage list; rather than driving around inside the village, use the car park at the entrance.
• İznik: In the historic town on the lakeshore you see walls, gates, the Hagia Sophia and tile workshops; before heading back you can watch the sunset by the lake.
• Mudanya and Tirilye: After Mudanya's seafront and historic houses on the Marmara coast, the stone lanes and olive groves of Tirilye to the west offer a half-day escape.
• Gölyazı: A fishing village on a peninsula reaching into Lake Uluabat; it is known for its shore where wooden boats are moored and for its sunset views.
• Misi (Gümüştepe): The village on the banks of the Nilüfer stream, with its restored stone houses and village cooking, is a calm stop close to the city.
• İnegöl and Oylat: The Oylat thermal springs and cave south of İnegöl, a town famous for its meatballs, offer a day of rest in the forest.

The table is the result of a search for 20–27 October 2026 that we ran in our booking system on 13 October 2026, with pick-up and return at Bursa City Centre; the search for Bursa Yenişehir Airport (YEI) on the same day and the repeat for 3–10 November 2026 showed the same 19 cars. Rows are sorted starting from the lowest driver requirement; with the same requirement, the car with the larger boot comes first.

The minimum age and years of licence depend on the car: some cars can be rented at 21 with a licence held for 2 years; in the upper segment the requirement rises to 25–27 years of age and 5–7 years of licence. The requirement for the car you choose is shown on its car card on the booking screen.

In the form you can choose the return point separately from the pick-up point. If you are moving on to Istanbul after Bursa, Istanbul Airport (IST) and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) are on the list; Bursa Yenişehir Airport (YEI) and points such as Ankara, İzmir and Antalya can also be selected.
