Bursa is a city that can show several different faces in a single day: tea in the courtyard of Koza Han in the morning, İskender kebab at noon, the stone lanes of Cumalıkızık in the afternoon and the seafront at Mudanya in the evening. In winter the focus shifts to Uludağ, in summer to Lake İznik and the Marmara coast. 1. In the form at the top of the page, select Bursa Yenişehir Airport (YEI) as the pick-up place and enter the pick-up and return dates and times. If you would rather collect the car in town, Bursa City Centre appears as a separate option in the same list.

6. The car's existing damage record, fuel level and mileage are checked together with our representative and put on record; the same check is repeated on return.

Leaving the airport, the road across the Yenişehir plain splits west towards Bursa city centre, south towards İnegöl and east towards Bilecik. Check the route and the current road conditions in your map app before you set off.

Cars Bookable Online at YEI: by Gearbox and Number of Seats

The table was compiled from the cards in the search for 13–20 October 2026 that was run in our booking system on 30 September 2026 with pick-up and return at Bursa Yenişehir Airport; a repeat search on the same day and a search for 1–8 November 2026 listed the same 19 cars. Cars with an automatic gearbox come first; within each group they are sorted from the most seats to the fewest. A search run the same day for the Bursa City Centre point returned the same list.

The minimum age and years of licence depend on the car: some cars can be rented at 21 with a licence held for 2 years; in the upper segment the requirement rises to 25–27 years of age and 5–7 years of licence. The requirement for the car you choose is shown on its car card on the booking screen.

The models on the cards are listed with the note "or similar"; the available car depends on the dates you choose. You see the cars, price and conditions for your own dates in the form at the top of the page.

From Yenişehir to Bursa and Beyond: Places to Drive to

The list is meant to give you directions; we do not give distances or times, because driving time depends on the route, the season and the traffic. Check your route in your map app before you set off, and the opening hours of museums and archaeological sites with the institution in charge.

1. Bursa's historic centre: the Grand Mosque (Ulu Cami) in Osmangazi, Koza Han, known for the silk trade, and the covered bazaars around them reflect the city's Ottoman-era fabric. Around the bazaar the streets are narrow and parking is limited, so leaving the car in a nearby car park and walking makes things easier.
2. Green Mosque, Green Tomb and Emirsultan: these buildings in the Yıldırım district are known for their tile decoration; a short walk lets you combine several stops in the same quarter.
3. Cumalıkızık: this Ottoman village at the foot of Uludağ, with its stone and timber houses, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List together with Bursa; at weekends the village entrance can get busy.
4. Uludağ: the ski resort and the hotel area are reached by the mountain road that climbs from the city; the cable car departing from the city is another option. In winter there can be snow and ice on the mountain road; before you set off, follow the road conditions and notices such as snow-chain requirements from official sources.
5. İznik: ancient Nicaea on the shore of Lake İznik; its walls, its Hagia Sophia and its tile workshops offer a day-long history route.
6. Gölyazı and Lake Uluabat: a fishing village on a peninsula reaching into the lake in the Nilüfer district, known for its sunsets and its storks.
7. Mudanya and Trilye: on the Marmara coast, Mudanya, known for the Armistice House (Mütareke Evi), and Trilye (Zeytinbağı), with its stone houses and olive groves, round off a seaside trip.
8. İnegöl and Oylat: İnegöl, south of the airport, is famous for its meatballs, while Oylat, part of the district, is known for its thermal springs and its cave.

Driving in Bursa: City Traffic, the Uludağ Road and Large Groups

Bursa's main roads get busy at rush hour; in places with narrow streets, such as around the historic bazaar and in Cumalıkızık, leaving the car in a car park saves time.

If you are driving up Uludağ in winter, set off early and follow the weather and road conditions; on snowy days traffic restrictions may be applied on the mountain road.

If you are travelling as a family or with ski equipment, a car with a large boot makes things easier; the YEI search listed Hyundai Bayon, Dacia Duster, Peugeot 3008, Hyundai Tucson and Peugeot 5008 in the SUV class. If you are looking for a VIP car or a car with a driver for a wedding, a business meeting or a special day, these cars are not in the online list; write to our customer service and it is arranged on request.

• Peugeot Expert Traveller: 9 seats, takes 8 bags; the driver must be at least 27 with a licence held for 7 years
• Ford Courier: 5 seats, takes 7 bags; the driver must be at least 21 with a licence held for 2 years
• Fiat Doblo: 5 seats, takes 6 bags; the driver must be at least 23 with a licence held for 3 years
• Dacia Duster: 5 seats, takes 6 bags; the driver must be at least 25 with a licence held for 3 years

Paying for Bursa Airport Car Rental: The No-Card Option Is with Customer Service

For bookings made on the website, the payment option is shown on screen; in the YEI search of 30 September 2026 this option was "Pay Now" for all 19 cars.

Leaving the Car in Bursa City Centre or in Istanbul

You can collect the car at YEI and, on the way back, return it at the Bursa City Centre point in the form or at the Istanbul Airport (IST) or Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) point; the other points in the form can also be chosen as the return place. On 30 September 2026, searches with pick-up at YEI and return at one of these three points also listed cars.
