SAW Rent a Car - Car Rental Cancellation and Refund Policy

As SAW Rent a Car, we have adopted the principle of providing you with a reliable and transparent service. Below we would like to inform you of our cancellation and refund policies applicable to your car rental reservations. Our aim is to protect both our valued customers and suppliers and to ensure your satisfaction.

1. General Cancellation and Refund Conditions for Airport Car Rental Services

In our Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Istanbul Airport car rental services, if you cancel the reservations you made on our website within 1 hour, the entire amount you paid on the same day will be refunded to your card without interruption.

This rule applies to all our airport car rental bookings.

2. Cancellation and Change Conditions Depending on the Vehicle Delivery Time

For Sabiha Gokcen Airport:

• You can cancel or change 24 hours before the vehicle delivery time.

• Your fee will be refunded in full without interruption.

• It may take 7-14 business days for the refund amount to reflect on your card (depending on your bank).

For Istanbul Airport:

• You can cancel or change 48 hours before the vehicle delivery time.

• Your fee will be refunded in full without interruption.

• The return process is completed within 7-14 working days.

3. Last Minute (Late) Cancellation Policy

For cancellations made less than 24 hours for Sabiha Gökçen and less than 48 hours for Istanbul Airport:

• The 1-day car rental fee will be deducted and the remaining amount will be returned to your card within 7-14 working days.

On public holidays, holidays and special days:

• For cancellations made within the same periods, the 2-day non-discounted car rental fee is deducted and the remaining amount is refunded.

4. Reservation Changes

After booking;

• Vehicle replacement,

• Adding additional packages,

• You can request a change of day.

Conditions:

• If the vehicle is suitable and the same class vehicle is passed, no additional fee is charged.

• If a top class vehicle is requested, the price difference is reflected as an additional fee.

• Price difference may apply for additional packages.

• Compliance is not guaranteed for change requests made 24 (SGH) / 48 (IST) hours before the vehicle delivery time. In this case, you can use your right of cancellation and refund.

5. Vehicle Pick-up Status

• If the vehicle is not picked up 2 hours after the delivery time, the reservation will be automatically canceled and the vehicle may be allocated to other customers.

• In this case, the relevant cancellation and refund conditions apply.

6. Customer Satisfaction and Flexibility

As SAW Rent a Car, we adopt a solution-oriented and flexible approach in order not to victimize our customers. However, our cancellation and refund conditions are:

• To prevent unrealistic reservations,

• To prevent supplier victimization and

• It has been created to secure vehicle procurement processes.
