The lowest daily price for car rental in Samsun in our booking system in this search was ₺2,406 (Fiat Egea manual and Fiat Fiorino, 7-day rental). The same cars cost ₺3,107 per day on a 3-day rental; in this example the daily price of a 7-day rental was lower than that of a 3-day rental. A second search for the week of 25 October – 1 November 2026 returned the same 7-day prices.

Samsun-Çarşamba Airport is located east of Samsun city centre, in the Çarşamba district. Guests flying into Samsun can collect their car at the airport and drive straight to the city centre, the Atakum seafront or other towns along the Black Sea coast.

After collecting your car at the airport you drive west along the Black Sea coast, past Tekkeköy and Canik, into İlkadım, the central district. Samsun city centre is in İlkadım.
Atakum is the district west of İlkadım, stretching along the coast; its long seafront and the Ondokuz Mayıs University campus are here. If you are staying in Atakum, you drive from the airport through the city centre and continue west on the coastal road. Bafra and the Kızılırmak Delta lie in the same direction, beyond Atakum.
SAW Rent A Car has no office or return point in Samsun city centre, Atakum or İlkadım. You collect the car at SZF, use it in the city and the region as you like, and return it to the airport at the end. As you return the car before your flight home, we recommend planning your drive to the airport with traffic in mind.
If you start in Samsun and head east along the Black Sea, you can also return the car at another airport. In the booking form, tick “I'll drop the car off at a different location.” and choose Ordu-Giresun Airport (OGU) or Trabzon Airport (TZX) as the return point. If a one-way fee applies, it is shown on a separate line in the booking screen and added to the total price.
With a rental car from Samsun you can reach the city centre and the Atakum seafront, as well as Bafra and the Kızılırmak Delta, Amasya, Sinop, and Ünye and Ordu on the Black Sea coastal road, on your own schedule. The coastal road continues east as far as Trabzon.

If you want an automatic, the Opel Corsa, Renault Clio, Citroen C3 and Renault Taliant in the economy group are automatic; the Hyundai i20 is manual. The Fiat Egea is listed both as a manual and as an automatic (diesel). Families with lots of luggage can choose the Ford Courier (7 bags) or the Fiat Doblo and Dacia Duster (6 bags each); groups of 9 can take the Peugeot Expert Traveller. Drivers aged 21 with a licence held for 2 years can choose the Fiat Egea (manual), Fiat Fiorino or Ford Courier; the requirement for every other car is in its card text in the table.
In the booking screen, each vehicle card lists tax (VAT), free roadside assistance, a clean vehicle and a fair fuel policy under “Services Included in the Price”. You return the car with the same fuel level as at pick-up.
The mileage limit is also shown on the vehicle card. In our sample search the cars in Samsun had a total limit of 1,400 km for a 7-day rental and 600 km for a 3-day rental. If you plan a long tour to Amasya, Sinop or along the Black Sea coastal road, compare your total distance with this limit before booking.
